Aguntok is one of the popular drama serial telecasted on RTV Bangla. Aguntok is a 104-episode mega serial written by Pantho Shahriar and directed by Shahiduzzaman Selim, under the banner of Dream Factory.
The serial features Zahid Hassan, Tania Ahmed, Rossy Siddiqui, Fima, Intekhab Dinar, Sharmili Ahmed and Masud Ali Khan.
The serial is about a village man, Ator Ali. Being a B.A graduate, he moves to Dhaka in search of better future, to attain a good job and enjoy the life. The story revolves around his relationship with the city. As time passes the simple village guy becomes a city guy. Apart from the story and cast, viewers will find a new element in the serial as most of the shooting has been done outdoors.
