The story line of Joy Biyoge is based on the life and times of a lady named Sabita, a famous film actress. Shiraj loves Sabita and has a close relationship with her and her family. In the meantime, a film producer proposes to Sabita. When the news spreads, Shiraj wants to nip the relationship between Sabita and the film producer. He tries to pressurise her not to marry the latter–but all in vain. The highly ambitious Sabita marries the well-off producer.
Within three months of the marriage the shocked Sabita learns that the producer has two other wives and three children. Shiraj is aware of Sabita’s sufferings but is unable to help her. The serial unravels gradually.
Jog Biyog stars ATM Shamsuzzaman, Dolly Zahur, Tushar Khan, Abdul Kader, Shirin Bakul, Dr Ezaz, Mita Noor, Mukti and among others make up the cast. Jamal Reza has penned the story of the serial.
