Kachher Manush serial si based on Suchitra Bhattacharjee’s novel Kachher Manush, is directed by Afsana Mimi.

“The novel Kachher Manush was published in the Indian magazine Desh Patrika during 1995-97. Kachher Manush was focused on women’s issues in the middle class social structure.

Mostafa Kamal Syed, the head of programme, ntv, Subarna Mustafa, had performed in the role of Indrani in the serial. The mega serial Kachher Manush had 150 episodes.”

NTV Bangla telecasted Kachher Manush on Thursdays and Fridays.

The mega serial Kachher Manush was centred on the problems of two women. Through the story of a joint family, Kachher Manush depicts the barriers that separate people. Mamunur Rashid, Alamgir, Subarna, Humayun Faridee, Fazlur Raahman Babu, Salauddin Lavlu, Azad Aabul Kalam, Afsana Mimi and others played the central characters in the serial.
