The play is set in the post-Liberation War Bangladesh, some years after 1971. Emdad is happily married to Fatima. Emdad works for the Home Ministry and gets a promotion. Consequently, people start approaching him to lobby for their cases. One of them Kader Mia, comes to Emdad’s home. The guest’s voice startles Fatima. She has heard this voice before. Fatima comes out with her husband’s licensed gun and wants to shoot Kader Mia. An agonising story is revealed.Fazlur Rahman Babu, Saberi Alam and Challenger play the lead roles in Mukhosh.

TV play Mukhosh is based on a story by Ariel Dorfman. Giasuddin Selim has written the script and directed the play.
