“Baank” Synopsis:
The play “Baank” centres on a retired government officer, Modabber Hossain. Modabber Hossain and his wife have developed a habit of chewing betel leaf together, a ritual they believe fosters the conjugal intimacy. While trying to find a file needed to recover his pension that has stalled, Modabber is humiliated at his former office. Frustrated, Modabber goes to a park. Continue
