The play is the adaptation of a short story by Manik Bandyopadhyay. Shimul Yusuff, Ishrat Nishat and Chandni play the major roles in the play.
The story revolves around the lives of three women. Two of them are widows. Pishi lives with her brother. Mashi lives with the same family; her sister is Pishi’s sister-in-law. Mashi and Pishi have a nephew and a niece. Ahladi, the niece, was married off at a tender age. Not being able to tolerate the mistreatment of her alcoholic husband, Ahladi comes to live with her parents. Her parents and brother pass away after an outbreak of cholera. Mashi and Pishi henceforth take on all responsibilities of Ahladi.
Fauzia Khan has directed the play.

The play highlights a burning issue. The plot follows the relationship between two university students. Friendship between Wasika and Dolon turns into a relationship and they want to get married. But Wasika has to go through an acid test; she has to spend a day with Dolon’s cold and strict mother Najma and win her over.
Things go well for her until it is revealed at lunch that Wasika’s father is Bihari. Najma recalls how the Biharies slaughtered her parents in front of her during the Liberation War and asks Wasika to leave. Wasika argues that her father is Bihari but she is not. She was born in Bangladesh and is a Bangladeshi.
Dolly Zahur and Tarin have played the roles of Najma and Wasika in the play.

Raihan has a hobby of collecting coins. He sets off to Trishal, Mymensingh in search of a coin from Emperor Akbar’s era, in possession of a jewellery shop owner Mostafa. On the way, he comes across the stationmaster Sirajul Miah. Mostafa informs Raihan that the coin is currently with an old woman, and he would have to wait for at least a month in order to obtain it from her. Meanwhile, Raihan stays at Sirajul Miah’s house where he befriends the stationmaster’s divorcee daughter, Rabu. Although, Mostafa and Raihan succeed in getting hold of the coin, a chain of unfortunate events follow.
The serial is written and directed by Dipankar Dipon. Chanchal Chowdhury and Tisha play the major roles in the serial.
