A new serial Baishakh Thekey Srabon will begin on ntv. The cast of the serial includes Sharmili Ahmed, Tarin, Masud Ali Khan, Keya Chaudhury, Apurbo, Nova, Nirob, Neerob (RJ of Radio Today), Hillol, Himu and Dipali.
The plot highlights the odd relationship between a grandmother and her grandchildren. Shajal and Shathi are close friends and neither of them realise their true feelings for each other. Shathi has a well-paid job and can live on her own; yet she stays back to live with the grandmother she detests. Bithi gets married to Monir, though they had just met a month back, and is abandoned by him days after their wedding. The serial deals with the ups and downs that occur in every relationship and how people are still able to hold onto their dear ones.

Written by Faria Hossain, the serial is directed by Chayanika Chowdhury. The title song of Baishakh Thekey Srabon has been written by Kabir Bakul, composed by Ibrar Tipu and sung by S.I. Tutul.
